So I pretty much am obsessed with yetis. It's a sickness that I am not sure how to cure. But I don't want to be cured!

I made this lunchbox awhile back. I work at an elementary school so I wanted something cute the kids would enjoy!

This is another cryptid cabinet. Actually, this is the first one I did, before my bigfoot one! When I saw RobbinZombies yeti:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=324732.msg3749195#msg3749195

I knew I had to have one! Luckily, she agreed to a personal swap and I got my awesome, amazing yeti and made this one in return for her. Smiley

I made this for myself. I just wanted a simple bag and then I needed a little one to hold my random odds and ends in my purse. It has a yeti pin on it from loveandasandwich who turned my yeti into the most amazing plush!

And lastly (finally!) the yeti that started it all. I drew this out of boredom and it turned into an obsession! I framed him and added the paper to commemorate the yeti that sparked my love of all yetis alike. ^_^

I adore your Little Yetti (along with most the stuff I've seen you post)! I can understand how he's become an obsession of yours......he looks like he has such personality!

hmmm. I am not sure I can really explain since I don't have a process that is planned or anything.

I always start by painting the cabinets and then sanding the edges to give them a rough and worn look. If the boxes I use don't have shelves already, I measure the dimensions of the inside and I make my own from thick cardboard and gluing the with hot glue inside.

The rest is just your own interpretation! I have a HUGE stash of little trinkets that I go through and whatever I feel might work for whatver kind of cabinet I am using I glue it in! I make the newspaper clippings and posters by googling images and shrinking them in photoshop. I also age them using photoshop techniques so they look old. Cover them in some mod podge and voila!

Sorry, that is a horrible tutorial but I think if you just start gathering stuff, it will come together!
