I got my great package from Kaz814 a couple days ago, and finally got a chance to post pictures!

I got the awesomest lap cloth for when I'm spinning to catch fuzzies and stuff I pull out so I don't have to spend lots of time vaccuming the floor every time!  And there's two gorgeous project bags .. one is already in use and the other is about to be Smiley  And finally a set of lovely face cleaning cloths for when I'm washing my face in the mornings .. I don't have to get a whole washcloth wet with cleaner!

Thanks so much!!

I love the face scrubbies. How were they made? I would love to make some if there is a knitting pattern.

I crocheted the scrubbies using a magic ring and then 2SC into each ... increasing each round (I don't remember, exactly, what I did -I think a round of SC, then a round of DC, then maybe a round of SC).  You could do the same thing with knitting- just knit in the round, probably kfb every other stitch would get you the right size/tension ... but those who are better knitters than I am probably have a better idea.

I received from ariaya today!!!  She soooo spoiled me and I hope the package I sent to her gave her as much excitement as the package I got today gave me!

Top row:
Romney - 190 yards, light worsted 2-ply - I love the rich, gorgeous jewel tones!
Merino-silk - 200 yards, light worsted 2-ply - oh, the colors in this are just gorgeous and it's so soft!

Bottom row:
Alpaca-silk - laceweight, 2-ply ... I can't wait to start experimenting with laceweight!
Camel-silk - fingering wt, Navajo plied - again, the colors are fabulous
Merino - thick-and-thin, 2-ply - hee - my college colors!

Thank you SO SO much, ariaya!  This was such a happy surprise to find in my mailbox after a weekend of being sick.  I love everything!

I received my wonderfuk package from ginamonster today! I feel so spoiled. I never had any handspun yarn before. She told me me it was wool with a bit of Oliver (angora). The colors are fantastic! I asked for gerbil colors. The colors she sent match perfectly with two of my brown gerbils. It is 3 ply. I will be making some knitted gerbils from this yarn for the upcoming gerbil show in May. Even my gerbils go some goodies.

Couple of spinning questions. What is a drum card? Also, I feel silly for asking but do I need to wind the yarn into a skein or can I knit as is?

All together.

My gerbils got these wonderful apricot wood chews from her own tree! My gerbils love them. They say Squeak Squeak! (Thank you in gerbil).
