Ok, does gardening count as crafting?  For a National Garlic day, I could send someone a head of elephant garlic.

Heck yes! I would LOVE to receive a home-grown head of elephant garlic.

Everything in the gallery is just great!  Here are the goodies I received from sloanlaw.  Please forgive the cell phone pics.  That's the only camera I have right now. Tongue  sloanlaw, if you have better pics, feel free to post them.  We both have babies and decided to craft for them.

First, she sent this cute burp cloth for pencil day.

She made this super-soft taggie in honor of the first space walk.

Here is my favorite! A bib for Mister Roger's birthday.

sloanlaw also sent me little cowboy wash cloths.  The are soft but ridged on the back side.  I think they'll be great for the bath tub!

Thank you sloanlaw!  We love everything.  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

DITTO!  And, adding garlic day to the list of potentials, I missed that one somehow

As for the last package, SO GREAT!  I love the bib & the cowboy washcloths the very bestest!  Cheesy

Gardening is most definitely a craft! Smiley

Love that bib! I love Mr. Rogers. He was the best  Kiss

I've been looking over the April Holidays too and also having a harder time finding some I'm interested in. The lists different people have put up have helped though.

llisared, what about:

Draw a Picture of a Bird Day (you have lots of birds on your Wists)
Look Up at the Sky Day
April 6 Twinkies hit the market. The first twinkies were banana-filled.(1930)
April 3 The Pony Express begins delivering the mail. (1860)

I'll try to find more.
