So, If you just have an embroidered piece not attached to anything how do you display it? In a wooden hoop? In a frame?  I have this awesome vintage embroidery piece, it's too thin to just hang by itself, so I am kind of trying to figure out how to display it.. Any tips or advice would be great!!

Thanks

Is it a valueable piece?  I had a sampler, dated 1888,  that was made by my late DH's grandmother, matted and framed

I don't know, I picked up a box full of vintage flapper dresses and hats from a flea market and this piece was in there.  This older man was selling them and everything was his late wife's.  Its probably from the twenties.. its really cute--I'll have to take a pic and put it up..  its on thin pink fabric and is  a profile of a flapper type girl with a fan..

But you had it matted and framed, just like a photo or piece of art? Hmm,  that is an option,, tho I was think of something a little less restricting for this piece!
