Happy Ostara!!! (well, here its ostara already)

What are your plans for the celebration?

since my daugther is a tad young for activities, I think we'll stick to cooking (she loves it) and I'll have a little simple ritual of my own. We're dinning at my mom's so I'll bring the cooked goods and probably a chunk of chocolate to melt on fruits, yum Tongue

I'm sad Phizzy didn't get her package yet, I tried to send early, they said it would take 5-10 business days to reach her but it seems like that isn't happening.  Sad

Is it sad I'm already excited to start organizing the next round?  Wink

I am getting together with the pagans from the local UU church tonight. We have a ritual and potluck on a farm owned by one of the members. We plan to have a farm blessing (planting seeds in the meadow) and to write wishes on paper ornaments to be placed on a long-dead sumac tree (usually it's a Yule tree but no-one had a cut tree this year!) that will go on the bonfire. It will be very nice. Since it's a UU event some non-pagans attend but are very respectful and supportive. These are usually not very magical but still spiritual. I hold my own ritual on my own also.

I hope everyone has a nice holiday.      ~Lynn in IN

Oh geez! I'm a day late. Happy Ostara everyone! We actually did some spring cleaning yesterday and then a small ritual last night.

Of course nature had to say hello this morning. I went to start some laundry and noticed 2 of my cats were sitting on the dryer staring at the vent for whatever reason. Little did I know we were about to have a guest lol. We had a starling drop by for a visit and needed to be rescued before I could run my dryer. So today's project is to replace the screen that fell off the dryer vent outside.
