Haven't posted anything here in a very long time...

Anywho, I finally finished a pair of shorts that I had been working on for a while. Their made out of medium weight denim in a sort of dark smoky color, that I purchased from a thrift store. I finished the seams of the edges and pockets with decorative stitches in light gray. Sorry about the crappy photos I had to take them myself with a phone cam.

Oh my!  These look great!

Did you draft the pattern yourself or use a pre-made one?  I have been scouring the earth looking for good instructions on pant-pattern drafting with no luck as of yet.  Any suggestions?

Thanks! -I used a pair I already owned and ripped the seams apart with a seam ripper, to use as a pattern. I've tried making them on the whim with no pattern or anything and the pocket, belt loop, button, zipper placement is always off.
