The fact that fresh cream and hot fudge sauce doesnt exist where i'm currently living has been making me sad for some while, but now i just want to cry - it looks SO GOOD!

Oh my goodness, this looks amazing. I will have to try it!

Whatever happened to the ongoing hoopla swaps?

I made this over the weekend and it was a huge hit with my guy. He even tried to sneak some as a midnight snack but he forgot and left the evidence (dirty dishes) out.

It's really subtle and yet rich at the same time. I think I like it best with some coffee to offset the richness.

I do think I'll add a little more peanut butter than it calls for next time, at the request of my boyfriend who loves peanut butter. In his opinion, this is definitely on the "you must make this again" list.

The title does not lie, this pie is sooooo yummy.  I finally got to make it today, but I made it with a gluten free spin.  My mom has celiac disease meaning her body literally can not process gluten (wheat, barley, rye and oats I think), so I have been looking for a way to make the gluten free chocolate cookie crust.  I knew that I could make a simple cookie crumb crust, but first I had to find a yummy chocolate gluten free cookie (for anyone who knows it is quite a challenge), long story short last night we went to the health food market and found these yummy gluten free chocolate cookies, so I made the pie today, after I made sure all the other ingredients were gluten free.  Unfortunately my pie pan was deep enough so the crust didn't set up right, but it is still delicious just a little messy.

Thank you for sharing this yummy recipe.
