lol....I've been crocheting for a couple weeks after not crocheting for many years....my boyfriend has been bugging me to make one of these for him.  I should....cuz he does work outside and it is winter....lol

Could I have a hint at the pattern you used? I know it will be different for everyone, but I'm curious as to how you connected the nut and shaft parts haha. I've been joking with my fiance for a long time that I would make him one. Cheesy

haha, i made my friend a red one of those for xmas.  I put a pom pom at the end and made his g/f a red santa hat....with a pom pom at the end.  I told them that way they could keep both their heads warm!  (sorry if i offend or if that was inappropriate for craftster)
