This Christmas I got an ipod Nano.  I was not expecting it, so my first thought was not "Now I can listen to a bunch of music on the go!" but "Now I need an ipod cozy!"

Here's the inside, with felt backing and vinyl from something that was in a vinyl envelope.

I knitted the cover with size 2 knitting needles and embroidery floss.  These are the colors:
Grey: DMC 169
Yellow: DMC 3852
Green: DMC 730
Orange: DMC 900 (There was a slightly more red color available that I wish I'd got now)
Brown: DMC 975
Purple: DMC 327
Beige: Some that I already had called J&P Coats that lost the number tag

You might be able to see that the wrong side is out, with the woven in ends showing...I was distracted at the time and put interfacing on the wrong side.  I'm thinking of making another one though, with smaller needles, but this works for now.

I just got an IPod Shuffle, and wondering about where to put it Smiley
It's even smaller than nano so I guess 3 m yarn should be enough Cheesy

Embroidery floss?! Wow. That is some tiny knitting! Brilliant cozy, I tried to make something similiar for my phone but it kept snagging, now I'm embarrassed that I never thought to line it with felt.
