I'm crafting 'inspired by' my partners wists as a lot of the stuff on there is crafts I can't do Sad but there are a few that I can. I'm mixing it up. eep!

Yeah, my gifts are more "inspired by" than actual duplicates of the things on my partners wist.  I didn't set out to do it that way, it's just kind of turned out that way.

I am having a few hiccups with the final piece for my partner.  Dang it.  But I will prevail.

This last item and I have a love/hate relationship. It can be cute if it actually came out right. I've had to re-do it 2 times so far. Tomorrow I'm taking it apart and re-doing it. Third time is a charm? *Gets on knees and prays*

I know how that is , I had to go over the mushrooms a few times.. then i completly redid one of them
the acron tile i made was inspired by 2 different tiles an acorn & leaf one and a tree of life sort of one ( the design inside the acorn) but I had originally made a mushroom one ( also on my partner's wist) but that completly failed then tried doing the tree one and that failed and then for some reason i thought to make an acorn with the tree design in it which i really like because inside an acorn is the possibilty of a new tree  and it wasn't a fail.
oops I've rambled on.. point is If at First you don't succeed Try try again.. or if make something a lil different Tongue

Mine's all coming along nicely now I've got into the swing of things Cheesy

A bit confuddled about the send out date though as it's a bank holiday, as is the monday. I was planning on getting out to the post office on Friday but since it won't be open, will Tuesday 6th be ok for send outs as that's the next available day!

I'm so glad I was able to accomplish what I wanted to.   I will probably mail my package on Tuesday or Wednesday, then I can direct my efforts to my Dotee swap.

I'm power crafting this week.  I was getting over a bit of personal issues and didn't really feel much like doing anything but I'm back on track and hopefully will be sending out on time.

I'm not sure that those are bank holidays here in the states, but with I'm sure the post office is closed either that Friday or Monday for Easter.  Could we just move the send out to the 6th just in case the holiday creates a problem.  I think I'll make it well before then, but I can see it being an issue for a lot of people.
