Checking in a little late...
Yesterday I cut up a pair of socks and sewed the body and limbs. Haven't put it together yet.
It's not exactly the right colour, but I think I can make up for that with the details. Still thinking about the clothes. I don't think it will be clothes in the way of giving him/her a shirt... it will be different! ;-)

Gee, what kind of socks are you guys using for this project anyhow? I generally go with very plain, one colour socks for monkeys and critters. Maybe I might use stripes for a creature but they are only background for details so the less awesome they are, the better!
