Oh my, who would think just talking about socks could be so funny!
That might not be correct English  Huh , but you get my point...

I'm starting right now, with a sock for practice critter... Can't seem to make up my mind about the size of it... Big body and long face or face and body together to make it a small one.. Undecided I like them both...
So now I'm going to make both and than decide. My kids just had a laugh over lunch about the critter, I was trying some things out with pins and stuffing.

It would be a great idea to do a round 2 and use our other ideas, I have so many (crocodile, snail, caterpillar (strange word), pirate, pig, cow..  Grin)

We'll be in touch! Hihi, coconuts...

What's with all the test critters?....lol....going to make mine today.  If I like it I'll run with it....if I don't I guess it'll be a test critter too.

titaniumhip - OH MY GAHH that "sockticorn" is SO perfect I wisted it right away Wink  I love how it looks like orange zebra stripes.. how cute.

Here is my practice monkey.. Truthfully I only did a practice because I knew I would want to keep my first one for myself... I always get connected to my "first" tries.. I am glad I did a practice though because I definately need to find some better socks and make the next one less lumpy. I also am going to make the tail skinnier and of course the next one will be way more dressed up Grin

The tail is so fat you can stand her up like a tripod!

I got socks today! Two kinds and now I have to choose. They are both fairly plain but sometimes the base is what makes all those details come together. You wouldn't think it would require two trips to get ordinary socks like this but there you go, I've been driving all over the place to find 'em.
