Hey honey, for Valentine's Day I left you a big hot steaming pile of....
naaaah  just kidding.

Cut out the hearts and slot them together in the middle.  Back with pretty paper.  Glue to cardstock.

Free template to hand cut or machine cut and a tutorial (although it's pretty self evident) here:

That's really neat! Very cute. I think I'll give it a try this year for my boyfriend Smiley He always loves "cool" stuff I make. This should be classified as "cool" for him  Cheesy

Okay, so I tried this today and I'm having trouble cutting the template correctly. The part of the template that is glued to the base paper I must be cutting incorrectly. Help please? I have no problem with the pop up part of it. (Or so I think) everything lines up.

Can you be more specific what the issue is?

I found it worked better if I cut the two halves apart at the fold and left a little gap between them.  Otherwise the card tends to wrinkle when you try to close it.

Are you thinking that the striped paper is cut and glued on top of the white?  It's not--it's just a backing paper that shows through the cut outs.

Carol,

I did figure it out after a few attempts. I finally realized what you meant about the wrinkle after I made the mistake lol

Thanks for the reply back Smiley

My boyfriend thought I bought the card at the store so it must have been pretty good...to him anyway! haha
