This is a cute little baby blanket I made for a girl I met in one of my classes that was having a baby. I didn't really know her that well, but I was hoping to give her something because I love kids and I love the idea of children having something they can hold onto forever.

I got the pattern online, I'll see if I can find the link and post it. I really like the way it turned out. Thanks for looking!

Neat how it's knit diagonally.  I also love the idea of kid's having something they can hold on to forever, but I haven't got the stamina for blankies.

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.
