Anyone still wanting more inchie swaps??

I'd like to frame an alphabet of inchies. And swapping is just so much more fun than making them all for yourself.

So each inchie has to have a letter of the alphabet on it. Easy, right?

Here are a couple of examples of different ways they could be made:

If there is enough interest we can decide the logistics of the swap.

Should everyone make 26 inchies and then we send different letter to different people.
Or should people be assigned letters.... something to think about  Cheesy

Yes!! Someone please do another inchie swap Grin  An alphabet one would be so much fun. I think we could see how many people you get and a then give everyone letters. Making sure one person doesn't have any letters in a row like 'A B C'  but instead  'A K V' so when its framed the everyones styles will be mixed well.  Does that make sense?

That's exactly what I was thinking!!

I actually had all the letters split up already, but I can't remember where I wrote it down!

Well hopefully there's be some interest, my swap are almost over because then I can organise...

I've never made inchies before and I'm a little scared of their apparently addicting qualities, but this sounds like a lot of fun! I think I might be in!

I'd definitely be in. I've been wanting to start making inchies, and I think this would be a lovely way to start. And framing them for display solves the problem of "what do I do with them once I've got them?".

Is there anyone that wants to organise??

I won't be able to for a while. My swaps are full, and then i'm organising the NCIS swap.

Hello Hello-
I've never swapped before and I found this post and would LOVE to join a swap like this. For all of you that have never inchied before, I think the ABC theme is a great place to start...I like it because it gives me a little guidance as to what direction I will go in- and yes, you will be addicted!!

As this is my first swap, I'm not sure about being the organizer. I would be up for it- but I don't know if I'm allowed if I've never even swapped before... (haven't read up on that)

Splitting up the letters is a great idea...another thing I was just pondering....would we want to specify that the inchie must have the letter and something that represents that letter? I just posted my new set of ABC's on the papercrafts board... on that set I decided to not put a representation of every single letter but instead just decorate or embellish the letter itself...if you look at them I left letters like E and I and a few others alone... HAVE I CONFUSED YOU YET? It was just a little thought running around...

here's the link to help you be not confused.

I'm not sure either.... I have a feeling that you need to have swapped first though. Just so you know how it all works. Maybe co-organiser if needed? I'll have to check the rule book.  Cheesy

I think I get what you mean!  Tongue
We'll see what people think - but I think that as long as it has the letter on it, it'll be okay. Then people can choose to have something that represents the letter or not (I know i'd prefer with! I love that baby inchie!!)

This sounds like a lot of fun.  I hope we have the option to go in for more than 1 complete set.  I'd love to frame these up for my brother and my sister who are both having their first babies soon!
