onegroovyday - I had to look up the monkey wrench block because I didn't know what it looked like and I found two different blocks. Are you referring to the one that looks like a swirl?

Wow!! Didn't make it past the first post.  Cheesy I might not be able to join this swap due to time constraints but I am definitely bookmarking it for the pattern links!!  Wink

I know, I may not be able to afterall either. Luckily, signups are open for awhile so I can try and catch up while thinking it over.

Hey guys, I had said it was ok to use different sized blocks, but after doing some thinking and talking with a couple people, I've decided to cap the size at 14 (14 1/2) inches. If your block is bigger than that you need to size it down or find another block. The reason for this is that people are making these blocks with their own fabrics so it's not really fair to ask someone to make giant blocks if they are getting 12 inch blocks in return.

Ok, I'll go back and try to figure out a size for my partners to substitute for the sizes given in my block tutorial.  Mine was 15.5" finished, so I'll just scale mine down a bit so as not to overwhelm anyone.  Smiley
