i think the "don't use anything you would not want to receive" usually is a good guideline to go by.

i myself have three fabrics in my stash i would NEVER use in a swap.  i do love love love them tho and use  them in scrappy quilts, they are soft but thin and tend to melt if the iron is too hot. they were one of my very first purchases. before i knew to look for something that doesn't melt.   Wink

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Here's a pic of the blocks.

I need to trim & sash etc but you get the jist.  Smiley  The sashing instructions are kind of confusing to me, but I'll probably plug away on that this weekend.  It's my first quilt using precut anything & after all the (cut by me) strips on my other quilt, it was a welcome break.

Very lovely donniesgirl!  It's neat to see John's tutorial in another colorway.

If we want to use a pattern that we can't find online, can we post it on here, message it or email it?

So what happens if I sent in my sign up and am now having second thoughts about what I picked?!?

Sandy-  I think as long as it's not a copyrighted pattern you could post it.  What does everyone else think?

If you can actually paste the pattern into the bottom of your sign up form that would rock Sandy! I just don't want people having to search online for something.

Kim-- (and anyone else who wants to change their pattern/colors/whatever) please just re-send your form to me (hopefully it's saved in your outbox) and just let me know to delete the first one so I just save the most current copy.

I put a link to the color scheme I'd like - I hope that's ok & not too much trouble.  I'm just not that technologically savvy I guess.  Wink  I love this color scheme at a quilt at Cabela's, but I really don't like the quilt itself.

I'm excited for sign ups to end, too.  Even though I have a stack of blocks from the 50 States swap waiting for me to embroider their names on them.  Smiley

I am so interested ...This may be a silly question but can we ask for image or pattern blocks? Like what we do in my family is make family quilts for the new babies where everyone makes a block that represents themselves in the quilt ..can I ask for blocks like that ..such as I am really into robots so could I ask for robots or robot printed fabric squares?Huh  Wink

kinda like this sort of idea...
