So I FINALLY finished this today...I haven't done a lot of work with patterns and this one had like 25 steps, each step having 4 or 5 bullets underneath. I'm really happy with how it turned out and hope to get a lot of use out of it when our baby girl arrives (in early May! I can't waiiitttt!!!)

This bag would have been HUGE if I hadn't used the adjustments here:

On to the pictures!

Close up of the front closure (the pattern called for a magnetic snap, but I had velcro on hand so I improvised. It closes really easily and I added the button for decoration)

Without flash

Interior without flash. There are 2 bottle pockets and 4 bigger pockets.

Inside with flash

And my crazy but sweet husband modeling the bag for me (and you!) Grin

Comments and constructive criticism totally appreciated!

Thanks! I've only shown it to my grandma so far, and the most I ever get out of her about anything I make by hand is "looks good" or "well, it's too big/too small/stitching isn't perfect/otherrandomgripe" so I love being able to get opinions on craftster Grin

And that fabric was my favorite at Hobby Lobby. Doesn't it remind you of whales somehow? If I were having a boy that thing would have totally been embellished with whales  Wink

Thanks! I think this is my favorite fabric EVER. I want to buy some more but Hobby Lobby seems to have very little left on the bolt every time I go. I thought of decorating the little one's nursery in this fabric but of course, the Grandma had to say it wasn't "girly" enough. I *kind of* see where she's coming from, and I had a lot of pink and brown fabric on hand already so I think I'm just going to go with that. But not because she told me to! Tongue

Hehe, I love pink and brown together (we are going with pink and green, because the room is already painted a nice keylime green from when it was my son's room, with hints of brown and white to compliment)... in fact I am wearing pink and brown today!
