I posted this information on the South Bay Yahoo Group - but anyone is welcome to join me for class:

I wanted to give you a sneak peek at my class samples for the Spring 2008 session.

The class brochure doesn't come out until January 2nd, but this a great way to see projects and ask any questions you might have about my spring classes.

On-line registration for the spring semester begins this Monday, December 24th at http://gavilan.augusoft.net so mark your calendars and register early, as class seating is limited this semester.

Ready, Set, Etch! Create Copper Components for Jewelry & Enameling.
Copper is all the rage! Learn how to etch copper, creating interesting pendants, bracelet or earring components. So easy, you can even do it at home!

While not necessary to register for both classes, this is an excellent companion class to The Art of Enameling class. If you take both classes, be sure to bring your etched projects to the enameling class and learn a truly terrific technique!

9:00 am - 1:00 pm
$49, plus $35 kit fee

Let's spend the day enameling...
with your choice of two enameling classes in one day.

The first class is devoted to basic enameling techniques. We work with opaque enamels and some of my favorite techniques.

If you've already taken the first enameling class, consider taking Part Two. In the afternoon class students will work with gold, fine silver and transparent enamels.

Please note it's helpful to have taken The Art of Enameling Part One, before taking The Art of Enameling Part Two.

The Art of Enameling on Copper
Saturday, March 15th
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
$49, plus $30 kit fee

The Art of Enameling on Copper Part Two
Saturday, March 15th
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$49, plus $36 kit fee

The Perfect Pendant...Is the one you create yourself.
The stained glass soldering technique has been around for years, in class I will show you new ways to incorporate this old technique into stunning centerpieces.

Learn how to frame pottery shards, colored glass and more with solder. This technique can easily be transferred to captured images under glass and help you hold on to your memories and more.

Saturday, April 26th, 2008
9:00 am - 12:30 pm
$49, plus a $21 kit fee
