Cute hat Smiley I was just wondering how you made the flower on the black choke on you website? I was looking for a pattern for a knitted flower to attach to a purse!

Thanks bagheraa! I posted the instructions for the choker and flower in this thread. You also might want to check out this thread about flowers too. Good luck! Oh and please post pics of the purse when you're done!

I made the kitty hat back in February but was too lazy to get a photo album together.  Now, I have it.  Here's the link:
http://www.ofoto.com/PhotoView.jsp?collid=73544775106&photoid=73284775106&&refreshkey=1086104420860
Let me know if it doesn't pull up and I'll try again.

I enjoyed making the hat.  The ears weren't that easy and I didn't quite make them like the pattern said, but oh well.

I made a hat for my sis-in-law based on the kitty hat pattern. She wanted a pom-pom though, so I ditched the ears and put a BIG OL POMPOM on it instead. Here it is modeled by my little baby niece:

I have a stupid newbie question........

I just started working on this hat today with the help of the ladies at my lys. I'm to the part where I am supposed to put a stitch marker every 12th row. OK, here goes the question that makes me red in the face with embarrasment:

And I suppose to carry these stitch markers over as I have with the one I already have on there or is it suppose to stay where I leave it?

Yes, I'm a dork, thanks for the help!!!!

That hat is so adorable.  Is it something that someone pretty new at knitting (meaning I've only done scarves) could do?  I desperately want one now, and I figure I have a 5 or 6 months before I would be able to wear it anyway, so I could go slow.
