I took a needle felting class tonight at my local independent bookstore (they are amazing), and look what I brought home!

I've named him Chirp.  Here's a side view so you can see his tail.  (Sorry for the dark pictures; the light in my kitchen in horrendous.)

He fits in the palm of my hand, and makes me happy.  Smiley

That is so cute.  I'm crawling the walls until payday, so i can go out and get some needle quilting supplies.  I've been watching a ton of tutorials on youtube, there are soo many good ones on there!

Definitely.  I'm using the spare wool from this project to make little beads (just what I need, obviously).  The gal who was hosting the class was wearing a fabulous necklace which was just a plain silver chain with one green felted ball hanging in the center.  So simple, so lovely.
