So I spent the last 4 days on this thing and I'm glad it's finally over and on its way to my bf!!! Seriously, after a while, it was a pain in the butt to find pictures to express what I wanted to say. I really hope he likes it Smiley
My bf is in the Marine Corps and the first time I visited him after we started dating he gave me a hello kitty box filled with note cards of 100 reasons why he likes me. It's been a little under 2 years since then, so I thought he might want something like that back Smiley I constructed it in an accordion way so all of the cards are taped together (time-consuming idea, but I like it that way). Anyway, on to the pics.

Just so you can get a good grasp at how friken huge this thing is:

And a few choice page combos:

I'm pretty sure the Einstein one has been done before, but since he IS both smart and funny, I figured it would be a good one for my 52 reasons too.

Why are we tetris enemies? I don't know, but he always keeps trying to beat my score on Facebook, and then I beat him back. It really amuses his friends >.<

Thanks so much for looking Cheesy

Wow, that's a great gift!  Very thoughtful... I may have to steal the idea at some point in the future (when I have a Valentine to give it to)

i love these. I made one for my darling. Except, it's 42 things I love about you... lol. It was like 10:30 pm on Tuesday and I needed to send it out Wednesday. I couldn't think of 10 more reasons at that point and I think that I will send him the last 10 when he is deployed or missing me a lot.

This is beautiful. I loved that you used tape, the edge looks so nice and clean. How did you do it? I want to make one, but wasn't sure about the "spine" of it.

Aww Smiley It's always good to have a little bit of mystery kept hidden till the right moment, I'd say.

It's actually like a slinky. I didn't have a proper amount of time to really turn it into a book. First I used regular tape and left a gap between each card (small enough so that It can bend) Starting on the back so that if I made the gap too small or too big it would be easier to remove without damaging the front designs. Then I went over the front of each design with clear packing tape. Bad idea. Very time consuming! Well I hope that answered your question Smiley
