beautiful coat. it looks fantastic. White is so bold especially with the big black buttons. the seems, especially around the back look so neet and precise.

I totally hit "THIS ROCKS" because it does! I think it is the most awesomest thing too that you consider yourself a beginner and attacked this project like a piranha on a hot dog!

The black buttons on the white are so bold, and the funnel neck collar very cool. I can imagine this pattern in lots of different fabrics, but the white would be the most striking - gorgeous!

I actually went out and got the pattern ( BTW hancock fabric is having a sale on simplicity patterns, 5 for $5 ).  Im REALLY new at patterns and i have no idea how many yards this takes... can ya tell me about how many u used?  Huh
