And this is the package I sent to her. She hasn't had time to post - she has a toddler, I understand, haha.

The bag is called the Bohemian Banana Bag - large pouch with long sling like straps. And I appliqued my very own owl on it. (She loves owls.)
Then lots of chocolate, some rubber stamps, a medallion (she is getting into jewelery making), an owl pin, a MPLS postcard and an envelope wallet.

Here is just a close up of the owl.

And then I embroidered 3 pieces for her to hang.

I originally only had the Ganesha done. And I had a journal that I painted for her (which I didn't get a pic of) and my cats stole the journal and I made the other 2 embroidered pieces.
But then I found the journal - thank you naughty kitties - and so I did end up sending her the journal and a 1/2 yard of awesome owl fabric.

It was a great swap and we had a great time!

Thank you, I'm quite fond of him as well.
There are various incarnations and color ways of him all over the place!

What a pretty knitted bag!  I am not fond of hard handles on purses, but for a knit or crochet handbag vs a sling or hobo, they work wonderfully for those that like them Smiley  The yarn looks super soft!

LOVE that tree stamp, and the lotus embroidery is SO my fave.  I have developed a newfound love of the lotus flower and want anything and everything lotus now!  LOL!

Wow! There are some great bags in here! That owl is just too cute!

I received from jennyleigh on Wednesday and just now getting to upload the pics.  I've already got the bag and accessories in use Smiley... so get your WISTING fingers ready....

LOVE the bag and the goodies.  She really "got" me and its absolutely perfect!  Now I'm going to have to buy the pattern as my daughter wants one similar to carry her books in. LOL

Ok, so I got my fabutastic package from TheSapphireMoon, and I love everything!  I totally meant to post pics yesterday but was having issues lol  So here are my awesome pics!

First the bag.  It's very pretty and pink (seriously, my favorite color, and my partner took it and ran with it!)and it has an awesome flower pin attached!

A zippy pouch, which I never have enough of, a card wallet, and an awesome needle book.  I've never had one, and it's really cool lol

All my awesome little goodies, including two notebooks, gum, a manicure set, Shout wipes, nail file, hand sanitizer spray, a mini flashlight, pen, cell phone charm, Sweet Pea lotion, and two lip glosses (one of my favorite brands!).

And, some extra fabric that I already have plans for, and a super cute owl card.  Poor little guy lost an eye somewhere along the way...

Thank you so much for all my goodies!

mindboggld, your daughter is so very cute.  Is she the one who wants the same bag?  It's almost as big as she!

So happy you are pleased with your package.  I loved sewing with all those fun fabrics.

There are many pretty bags and items floating around this board.  Everyone has done a great job so far!

Thank you, jennilocker, I made the bag from the Amy Butler Birdie Sling pattern.  I have never used any of her patterns before.  It was easy to use and produced a great item.  I'll have to check out more of them.
