My mum recently gave me a whole mess of her old craft supplies, and so my foray into cross stitching began!  This is the first cross stitch I have ever done, and I completed it in two days, so I'm pretty gosh darned pleased with myself.  And I only made myself bleed once!

I used 'stitchcross regular' for the text, and I pretty much made up the light-sabers as I went.  I like how the blades turned out, but I'd like to learn a better way to do the handles.

This is for my husband's growing collection of Star Wars ... well, everything really.  I don't have a frame big enough for it at home, but I guarantee that after my trip to IKEA next weekend, it will be on the wall Smiley

UPDATE:  I'm very very excited - geekcrafts.com have put my cross-stitch on their page!  Huzzah!

NIIIIIIIICE!

As a life long SW fan I have been wanting to do this exact thing but was afraid it was too wordy. I love the font. It's perfectly legible and clean. I know you said it was stitchcross regular. Where did you find that?

Very well done. Hopefully your not done cross stitching!

Thankyou both Smiley

Whateverjames, I got the font from Fonts101 - here is a link;

(it's not working properly as a hyperlink, but if you paste it in to your address bar you should be fine Smiley )
