Sorry, I know there have been a lot of these around lately  Wink.
I liked the first one I did though (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=332982.0) and just had to make another one. Also, I really needed a black skirt  Smiley.
The skirt is a full circle and I added pleated pockets. The seams are a little wonky in some places (I am still practising sewing with my treadle) but thankfully on black fabric it's not really noticeable  Grin.

Also blogged about here: http://tidytipsy.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/and-another-high-waisted-skirt/

Thanks for looking!

Super look with those tights!

Sewing with a treadle seems like it would be VERY hard!  I have enough trouble with a modern machine!  Tongue

It's not at all actually! Treadling is lots of fun, if you get the chance some time you should really try it  Smiley. Of course you have to get used to it, like to any other machine, but a well-oiled, nice treadle works like a dream! My treadle machine wasn't even working properly (it got a professional makeover since, and I'm picking it up again today, yay  Cheesy) and  I still managed to sew that skirt.  My only problem is to remind myself that I have to go slowly to get nice straight seams and also the stitch plate doesn't have any markings (I'll have to mark it myself somehow, that'll make it easier).

I love it! Nice job! I have been thinking of making a pinafore, and now I might push it up on the project list! ^^ I was thinking on an a-line shape but wow circle skirt is the way to do it! I love your pockets and your whole outfit. It's simple but so cute!  Cheesy

Thank you all Cheesy ! I've never really made clothing before but these pinafores/high-waisted skirts are just so simple and great beginners projects!
