Candle Flame Cowl - my first knit! :D

I learnt to knit because I always need something on my neck , and crocheted stuff wasn't really working for my tastes. Up to now I had only knit hats and scarfs for my dolls, but finally I took the step and made a cowl for the last cold days of winter

I used this pattern I found on Ravelry and, though I messed up in many places (which I have strategically placed in the back for the pictures), I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It's made in some Caron I had in my stash and knitted on 5mm dpns. It's so soft and warm! Cheesy

And about to go to the street.

I feel so proud! I knit something I can actually wear Grin

I have yet to venture into that kind of detail. Looks awesome keep up the knitting!

So pretty! I am completely hopeless when it comes to understanding knitting term.

I've got the basics down pat, but give me a pattern like that and I'd probably throw in the towel sooner than later!! LOL!!
