I have two cards to show off today!  The first is from Nooitaremybirthday featuring a Long Eared Jearboa!  Is he not the cutest thing?!? I am so glad she picked this theme!  She mailed him on this cool card:

I love them both.  Thank you so much, Noo!

Next up is a real cracker from Kartiana for my Funny Eyebrows category.  She did a mini interchangeable booklet, which I find totally awesome!! -

Is this first one outrageous or what?!?
Next ones -

Then the back:

I just love this ATC!
She says she is now addicted to inchies, so she gave me 3 very pretty ones -

You are so generous, Kartiana.  Thank you!!

Hey all!

I received my last cards for the February swap today!

From L to R: The first one is Needle Woman from Fatal Frame III: The Tormented and the middle is the logo for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (hence the butterflies) both from Krafty_Karasu. The one on the right is the Japan themed ATC from blupaisan. Thank you both so much!

The letters for Needle woman are metallic and embossed. The japan ATC has felt in the background which feels awesome. I'm a person who loves texture and sensation so all of these cards fit that so well.

yay!  you got them!  Grin

honestly, Needle Woman freaks me out more than any of the other ghosts.  even more than Sae.  it's due to my huge fear of needles.  Cheesy  my character usually went running as I screamed every time she appeared.  but, with her hands cut off (as they are in this picture), she's pretty neat looking.  the thing that made me mad about that card was that some of the embossing powder got blown off as I was heating it up.  I guess the stamp ink dried a little too fast and I couldn't figure out how to add more.  but I think it looks ok.  kinda worn and old like Needle Woman.  Grin  and I had bought the Martha Stewart butterfly punch a few months ago and had to put it to use.

now, if only I knew what was going on with some of the other ones that haven't turned up in here.  Undecided

hi guys!  i'm sorry - i've been completely remiss in posting the atcs i received in feb!  it's been a crazy couple of weeks.  but i am trying to make up for it now!!

first, from nooo - she sent the atc in such a cool way - i've never seen it done like this before.  she taped it with clear tape to a postcard, mailed me the postcard, and gave me instructions on how to cut the card off with an exacto.  check it out:

plus the card itself is so gorgeous.  this is one of the most beautiful atcs i've ever received!!!

next, from casey - my awesome sewing atc.  i love the dressmaker tape as ribbon - so cute and clever:

next, a beautiful hand drawn atc from blupaisan (charcoal) on my tomatoes theme.  mmmm, yummy!  can't wait till gardening season:

it came in this cute little envelope:

next, i received an atc from krafty_karasu on my 'autumn' theme.  i love the leaves - so well drawn - especially for being drawn by hand!!!  such a great job:

finally, i just received this atc from angelus on my 'batman' theme.  it is a funny little joke on all the implied homosexuality in the earliest days of the batman and robin comic:

thanks partners, you've all done an amazing job!! and there have been some great cards posted here in the last few days!!! and thanks to everyone i sent cards to for posting pics.  it's much appreciated!

it's actually cross stitch (if you look REAL close with a magnifying glass, you can see that the stitches form an X.  it's size 22 cloth, which means there are 22 of those tiny Xs per inch.  PAIN!!!)

it looks flatter than when I sent it.  did it relax or did you use a scanner?  Cheesy

in any case, I'm glad you like it.  the pink mixing into the white cloth makes it look retro right?  Wink

WOW!! I thought to myself "that can't be cross stitch, it's so little" Now I'm even more impressed. It seems to be somewhat flat, but it still bows a little. and the pink makes it look definitely retro!

yup.  cross stitch.  here's the game sprite I used:

I'm glad it did relax some.  and I don't understand why the Elmer's glue pulled the color out of the paper.  but again, it looks retro.  Grin
