For The Labyrinth swap I was in my partner wanted a Firey so since my sewing skills are not that great I stuck to what I am good at - crochet! He is based off of the doll is Sarah's room. I wrote the pattern as I went, all I had to go by was one screenshot from the movie:

And without further ado..

I am super proud of how he turned out. He is so cuddly and I love him so much that I will definitely be making myself one!!

**Update** My Firey was featured on http://geekcrafts.com/ be sure to go to their site to check out more geeky crafts!

It was also featured in a weekly article on Fandomestic along with 12 other Labyrinth inspired crafts!

he pretty much comes to exactly 24 inches!  lol.  I was kinda surprised when I measured him.  I didn't think he was that big for some reason.

He's awesome!  I'd be afraid to cuddle with him though because he might try to pull off my head.  Sad

Man, that's gorgeous!

Also, in the thumbnail it looked at lot like Salacious Crumb.  Any SW fans out there who crochet (= sadly, not me) could probably adapt the pattern and make a lot of friends that way too Smiley

This is so cute. I had just watched Labyrinth a week ago and thought about making a firey for myself but not one so large. Either way, well done. :]

Just so Great! the only thing that could make it more authentic is if the head was Velcro -ed on so it could detach for a game of catch!
