I found the focal bead of this necklace at a bead show over 10 years ago.  Although I purchased the bead and made the necklace with the intention of selling it, I just can't part with it.

The focal bead is made of some kind of plastic/resin and the the remaining beads are glass and crystal.  I especially love the way light shines through the larger turquoise colored beads.  They really remind me of water.  I hope you enjoy viewing it.

Indeed.  It looks like a pretty awesome find.

Your selection of color is pretty spot on, I particularly like the fire coming off the greenish crystals. Is the photo about true to color?

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Hi,

Thanks so much for the kind words.  And yes, the colors are very true.  I scanned the image not knowing it would create that cool effect with the blue glass beads.

The focal bead is very cool, and the light through the other beads do remind me of water.
