Here is my entry. This challenge is great because I was able to clean out my overflowing drawer of old plastic grocery bags that I just couldn't throw out. The color scheme was dictated by how many of each bag I had.

I cut the bags horizontally into loops and then connected the loops together to form long chains which I crocheted together into squares. Here is an in process shot:


To add stability to the bottom of the bag I added two pieces of cardboard wrapped in yet another plastic bag!


And here is the "action" shot full of groceries:

i love this, but the last time I tried working with plarn i gave up cos it made my fingers hurt. did I do it wrong?!
