i wasn't shour were to post this but my boys realy wanted to have some play-dough so i found a old book with all the info i needed and made long-lasting play-dough i had lots of food colorings to play with so i even made gold and silver with food safe dusting powders and the colors are better in real life (i need a better camera)


gold silver added a little glitter and some of the brown

So awesome, Cheesy I have been thinking of making modeling clay or like jewelery clay from household products.... Any recipe suggestions?

Soap licking is dangerous..please dont try it at home

will trade some soap for a superhero cape which will be used by the kid in my avatar ^^

i used
2 tsp cream of tartar
1c all-purpose flour
1/2c salt
1tbs oil
1c water
mix to a smooth paste. out in a saucepan and cook slowly until it comes away from the sides and forms a ball and when cooled knead for 3 to 4 mins

I love the idea of glitter playdough.  What a great mom you are!  I work in a pre-school and my other teacher and I want to make some for our class, so thanks for the recipe.
