My husband and I live in a home that has been in his family for over 100 years, so in theory there is over 100 years of CRAP in our house. lol. We have two rooms that we refer to as "rooms of doom" that we have just been stuffing this junk into and I made the crazy decision to start cleaning one. I found this great chair, that had seen better days but was still just a fun chair. I tried cleaning it and some stains just aren't meant to be resolved. I didn't want to cover it being as the fabric and crazy color is what made me love it...SO I made it into something else, Meet George! Comments and feedback welcome!

Here is George!

He tried to eat Zoe's (My Great Dane) squirrel

She disagreed! Alot.

This was the chair when I found it, this was before the cleaning

How awesome!  Looks like you were totally channeling "chairy" from pee-wee's playhouse!  what a great way to reuse something that was definitely worth it!

BTW-is your hair Wild Flower? It looks blue enough and the ends look like it when it fades to purple.

Teapotdnky - GOOD GUESS! yes it is

ShaCalli - A little bit of both actually. I did some stitching and glue where the spot would take the most wear like the cushion, and just glued the ones on the side and back. Because of the fabric of the chair sewing was IMPOSSIBLE, it drove me crazy. But the spots are purple fuzzy fleece which the texture difference there is really neat.
