I am so proud of this project. I almost didn't give it to Poosel Smiley I must give a special thanks to The Angry Hippie. I was so inspired as soon as I saw her dissect a bear. I knew I had to make a cat one. So I guess we start at the head.  It is felt and some discount material from Joanns. The whiskers are a couple bristles off my daughters playbroom.

You can unvelcro the back of the head to see the brain. (felt and stuffing)

Yes she has 3 legs (my 3 legged cat Chicken Wing inspired me)

Then you unvelcro the tummy and get to see the organs.

The organs. Lungs, heart, spleen, kidney, liver, gull bladder, uterus (with fetus), intestines and bladder.

Uterus with removable fetus.

Heart close up

More guts close up

Lungs

For the tail I made a hole so you ca see the inside. The bone is made from a bendy straw.

OK so I work at a vet and you have to have a certain amount of grossness to everything you do Smiley So I had to make a tape worm.

I hope I didn't gross anyone out too much. Thanks for looking. And in case anyone wants to know she loved her dissect -a-kitty. There may be a dissect-a-puppy in my future from fellow craftster Poosel.
ps. I did forget to make a stomach but it's ok cause she doesn't have a mouth. (Sorry about some of the blurry pics too)

This is really, really brilliant. I'm kind of glad to hear you're a vet, because the amount of anatomical knowledge might otherwise be a bit worrisome!
