I went to lunch the other day with a bunch of co-workers.  We went to a somewhat fancier-than-our-normal-fare place.  In the waiting area there was a huge bowl just filled with corks.  I had to restrain myself from taking a bunch of them and putting them in my bag!

Of course, being out with "the guys", I couldn't even explain why I was having such a difficult time in the waiting area....I may go back without them and ask the host/hostess if they are available.....

I bow down to your creative genius!!  Thank you so much for sharing.  I love the knight and space guy the best.  I'm crocheting items for an animal rescue group to sell.  I might have to test one of these out as a cat toy.  Although I'll also have to stop harassing my husband for squirreling away all of our wine corks in the cupboard.
