I made this hat with no pattern, and my sister kept saying I was making a toilet seat cover.



I made 3 shawls. Sorry for the crappy pics.

I bet she wants the hat now, right?  I like the funky baubles on the hat!

3 shawls? Man, I am just starting mine...this will be a big project for me since I am venturing out in crochet from knitting...

Your shawls look similar to the pattern I found at Michaels!  Please tell me they were easy!  I like the green one with the purple the best!

Yes, that green purple is for me. Just for me. They are easy. I made them as a teenager years ago. I just chain to the width that is suitable to wrap around me, and then turn and do 5 chains sc into the 4th chain to get a shell type of pattern. Just reduce as I go around turns. I make 8 chains skip the first shell and sc into the 2nd shell in the middle if that makes sense?

I saw reply on the other thread and red and black would be awesome.
