Loving the Star Wars costumes!!

I'm also happy to stuff my own items, every little helps to save on shipping!

I have no allergies....well a very minor allergy to nuts, but I don't really like to eat them anyway so it's not a problem (unless it's Reese's Cups...yummm....)

Would you like a crafted item for someone else in your household (ie. dad, husband/boyfriend/children/pets)?
Who and what would they like, and what are their tastes/preferences?

I'd quite like some crafted things for my boyfriend Daniel. He loves Firefly, Studio 60, Tim Minchin, Stargate and Chuck.

I looooove Firefly and Chuck too!

I'm so excited to get partners!!

Holy smokes this thread is moving fast! Tryign to get my questionnaire done, but you all keep posting new questions!

Someone mentioned wall colors, might be helpful to post a picture of an obscure corner of your room so matching the colors would be easier.

I also love wall art, but art is so subjective and personal. I'll try and add a lot of art to my wist.

I also don't mind stuffing my own things if needed - it saves on shipping and space.

I really have anyone I'd like my things crafted for, just for me and my cat.

Umm.. i probably forgot something.

StarGate??? AAH! PLEASE tell me I didn't forget to add that to my questionnaire! *Slaps forehead* Damnit, I did! And Chuck, too. GUH. I knew I should've done the questionnaire later so that I didn't rush it. Sad

I put descriptions of the rooms in my house in my profile info during the last crafty detective swap.

I will also jump on the "not to hot on wall art" band wagon.  I am terrible about hanging things up.  I have 3 small frames with cherries in them and a vinyl "Create" on my craft room wall that my friends put up for me, a cupcake thing on my kitchen "wall" under the cabinet, and two flower pictures covering the old owner's speaker holes.  In my entire 4 bedroom house, that is all that is on the walls.  I have a really hard time decorating, so I tend to not enjoy wall hangings.

Someday I will I am sure.

Oh yes, I'm the real deal, I'm the shizzle in the dizzle.. Or something. The costumes are also super expensive! Smiley But we get to wear them all the time and do a lot of good in 'em too.
We're really just big kids, and we dress up because we grew up wanting to be stormtroopers. We go to heaps of conventions and stuff like that for fun, but the best stuff we do is with children's hospitals and terminally ill or disabled kids. (Not to be a heartbreaker, but the founder of the 501st Legion was doing charity work with sick kids through the 501st, and a few years later he lost his own daughter to an inoperable brain tumor).

On to lighter things!
Everyone meet Captain.

Such a bad photo of him.

We do have allergies in our house.  My husband is SEVERELY allergic to smoke. He is also a allergic to mold and dust, but those don't seem to make it into the packages too often Wink  My kids have very sensitive skin so we ask that all fabrics be washed before hand.  Don't worry about the soap, I can re-wash when they get here.  They tend to be okay with most soaps (body and laundry) but whatever they treat fabric with makes them break out.  Besides, unwashed fabric shrinks and then the items gets all wonky...or worse, falls apart Sad
my boys also have problems with their skin, they are both super allergic to most laundry soap and fabric softener, all I ask is that my partner tells me if she washes anything so I can rewash it

My goodness, I can't keep up!  I'll try to briefly answer the questions I'm behind on....

1.  No real allergies here.  Not fond of cigarette smoke, but not allergic to it.

2.  I added people to craft for in my questionnaire.  Adult daughter's that love aprons, placemats, kitchen stuff.  Grandsons ages 3 and 1 who would like stuffies, felt food.  Husband plays World of Warcraft.  Something with that theme would be fun.  I have a 17 y/o son - but anything I would suggest he would hate - he's at that age!  Two cats that love toys.

3.  Wall art is an interesting idea.  I would love to develop a wall of tree pictures.  Any art form for this would be great.  I love simple pencil or ink drawings that just reflect the beauty of trees.  Even cool photographs would be nice.

I have been visiting wists of those posting and have found lots of fun things I would love to make.  Can't wait to get my assigned partner!  I'm ready for the true stalking to begin!!!

I would love love love a small piece of textured wall art in fall colors for my bedroom!  I'll try to find something similar and put it on my wist.  I'm talking about the ones that look all thick under the paint (you can tell I'm no artist, huh?).
