Don't be a soap licker

I am shaking I am so mad and upset! I tried Oregon Trail Soaps because I had been hearing good things about them for years. The order took almost two weeks to get to me from purchasing even though we're in the same state, they didn't ship out until almost a week after I ordered.  I soaped with one of their fragrances and it was awful, totally mutated and ended up smelling like icky plastic.  I sent a polite email saying I was upset with the quality, what happened, and suggested she not sell any more of that batch of that particular fragrance to avoid more upset customers because I think it went bad. This is the email the bitch of an owner sent me back:

Quote
We take great deal of pride in our quality.  I have no idea how
you soap and if you're unhappy with a fragrance, I'm truly sorry.
That is why we encourage the 6 pack try it.

I will certainly take your comments under advisements, perhaps
we should just close the entire site and perhaps move on to something
we may be good at.  You think?

Do try these people, I think you may be happy with their sterling quality
and
reputation.

or any number of other vendors.  I'm hopeful you can find one that meets
your high standards.  Sorry it is not us.

Susan

Ugh, I am sorry you had to deal with such people. Why on earth business owners send emails like that is beyond me. Surely they would want to rectify the situation and keep you as a customer but obviously not.

Wow, that's just ridiculous. I would report them to the Better Business Bureau.

But hey! It's Friday, I highly suggest you throw yourself a Happy Hour/Pamper Party! After the week I've had, I'm throwing one for myself, and I recommend it for everyone!!  Tongue

What. The. Hell?!?!

Christ, I almost feel like writing her a letter and telling her that I was going to order from her but because of the snide response she sent my friend, I've decided against it.

Way to run a business. But good to know about them!

She obviously has no idea who you are and who you talk to. Big mistake on that bitch's part. Thanks for sharing MareMare.

Honestly, if she had just said "Sorry about that, I'll look into it" I would have been fine and probably ordered from her again (assuming that her other oils soap up ok). If she had offered me $5 off my next order or something I probably would be telling people how awesome she is!
