The parts over the actual earphones themselves - are they anchored to the padding somehow, or are they slipped over them? 

I love the look, especially the turquoise ones with the little fleas!

They are stitched very carefully, and as invisibly as possible, into the padding around the edges. I leant some to a couple of blacksmiths for a wear-and-tear test, because if anyone can destroy something its a blacksmith, and they came back just fine thankfully.

OMG I made a paie smilar to these and my sister snatched them!!!! I come from a a family of craft pirates that swoop in a steal finished crafts... My mom and sisters are the number the one predators lol

Katamari was what started these off! How funny! I've been making quite a mint off these in Hereford, but its such a small town its funny to see people walk past with your work on their heads and not know who you are! It does make me giggle.
