Craftster member who is organizing this swap: SevsOnlyGirl
Sign-up date range: Feb. 5 - 21, 2010
Date to send item by: March 31, 2010

Details of swap: (thanks to Lucy van Pelt for the wording!)
We'll be swapping the very best of anything to do with our respective countries, including, if possible, the fondest desires of your swapping partner. Magazines? Chocolate? Tea? Those tiny bottles of hair gel? Oatmeal? "My cousin went to San Jose and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"? Marmite? Anything you can think of that those on either side can't live without. This is better than a "My Country Doesn't Have..." this is "We GOTTA have it!"

You'll post a list of your 10 most desired items (again, within reason) and if you can't think of 10, ask for a surprise. It isn't required of your swap partner to fulfill your top 10; it rather serves as a baromter to your likes.

There will be three sizes of packages to choose from:
Small - 1 medium crafted item + 2 purchased items
Medium - 1 medium and 1 small crafted item + 4 purchased items
Large - 1 medium and 2 small crafted items + 5+ purchased items

You may opt to have 1 partner or 2 - depending on how many sign up, you may be assigned a second partner - hence the opt in.  It's not guaranteed, unless enough swappers request 2.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Oh this looks like fun! I'm definitely interested!

I have a question though: what about freebies? Say I wanted a bunch of old stamps (old as in used) or old newspapers or something that my partner could get for free. Would those count as "purchased" or would they be considered extras?

I'm in (I even snagged some stuff from the tourist info place in case;)) but I need to plan the list, so I'll be 'officially' signing up over the weekend (from the UK, the quaint and cute Cotswolds Roll Eyes)
