I've seen this ribbon used on shoes and clothes quite a bit (Anthropologie often) and would like to buy some but I don't know what it is called. http://www.simplysoles.com/ecommerce/images/69.jpg and http://www.gorsuchltd.com/Images/Products/602.3737-lg.jpg

I've searched under grosgrain but not seen ribbon like this. The lines on the grosgrain seem to go the other way eg. http://www.jkmribbon.com/grosrc.html  I think it's made of cotton as it's generally not shiny and is often that peach colour shown in the photo.

Any idea what this is called so I can try and find it?

I can't really tell from the pictures, but it might be ombre which looks something like moire fabric.

Okay, got it!  Apparently it's called rayon seam binding. I've found it at a few online stores and eBay.

Thanks for helping!
