Crochet Storm Trooper Hat

I used this pattern http://www.crochetspot.com/how-to-crochet-a-hat/ as a base and then altered it to make a storm trooper helmet because I love Star Wars.

I am still debating whether or not to add ear flaps.

Just got a good start on it yesterday!  I'm just afraid that it's not going to be wide enough.  Cause I have a very tight stitch, which makes it warm I guess.  Maybe it'll be wider than I thought.  I went out like two or three more rows than the pattern said to.  I love it though.  I really need a SW to go along with it.

The fit is tight if you crochet tight. Mine just barely fits my head.

Ooh. I  like it. I like that it has more of the details of the helmet than mine does.
