Im always amazed with beekers gourd creations.
One plain old gourd + one awesome crafter = a really amazing piece of gourd art!

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.

I apologize to SharaStar for taking so long to post her wonderful swap package that she sent.  Preparing for the holidays has been eating up so much of my time!  I absolutely fell in love with the Ganesha amigurumi doll that Shara posted here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=360862.0 and she agreed to do a personal swap with me.  I sent her the yarn and squirrel from page 25.  This is the lovely package she sent me:

I felt very spoiled as soon as I opened the package:

Ganesha with the breathtaking sari fabric she sent me:

Other goodies included henna tubes, gorgeous green bracelets and gems:

Thank you so much Shara!  It was such a delight to receive the package, and I cherish the Ganesha doll.

Hi all! Awesome stuff in this gallery, but I had two recent swaps that beat all Smiley
I swapped for Christmas gifts with phoenixfiredesigns & JessySihk.

phoenixfiredesigns made these fabulous Tree of Life pendants. I asked for one for my SIL, but she sent two! They're absolutely beautiful & these pictures don't do them justice. My SIL loved them & couldn't stop talking about how well made they were & how talented phoenixfiredesigns must be (she'd know - she works for a jeweler). Thanks so much phoenixfiredesigns!

I also swapped with JessySihk. I saw her Etsy shop & loved her stuff & thought she'd do a great job of creating my vision - a desktop palm tree hammock scene. This was a gift for my husband to keep on his desk at work to remind him of our favorite spot on Earth - in a hammock on the beach in Jamaica (on our honeymoon). It came out so much better than I imagined & my husband LOVED it Smiley Thank you JessySihk!!!

(I sent a bag to phoenixfiredesigns & ruffly booty shorts to JessySihk, but they both probably have better pictures of those than I do!)

You are SO welcome! I'm thrilled your sister-in-law loved them. Cheesy

SAHMama was nice enough to not only make me a tote bag, but actually go out and specifically track down some of the Joel Dewberry "Sparrows in Almond" fabric that I love so much but which is now sadly discontinued. I am always in need of tote type bags because I pack myself up with all the little things I'll need for the day, like all my library books, or all the items going to the post office, etc.

Look how great it is:

There is a large pocket on side and a split, double pocket on the other. It's a really great size - perfect for my errand days.

Thank you so much, SAHMama! It was so sweet of you to get this specific fabric for me. Grin

While I'm at it, let me share with you the awesome Griffendor scarf ambermoony made for my Love! He saw one in a catalog and said how cool it would be. She pm'd me and said she'd make one for him on a personal trade if I wanted so I jumped at the offer. She was so sweet and hurried up and sent it out so it would make it for Christmas. We missed it by one postal day but that's ok - he didn't even know it was coming so it was still a nice surprise.

Love's sick right now so he didn't want me getting a pic of his face but this at least shows off the length and such:

He spread it flat in the photo to hide the Pirates of the Caribbean shirt he's wearing. Cheesy And to show off the stripes. The close-up shows how neat and percise it is plus the nice fringe on the end.

He was so thrilled with it and excited to show off his Gryffendor colors. Grin It's a really awesome scarf so huge thanks to ambermoony for making it for him! Grin
