That purse so so pretty!  Is the pattern available online anywhere?

Thank you!  Yes, actually!  A free tutorial:

It's such a cute design, I can imagine in all kinds of fabrics.  I've done one other one that I haven't sent to my partner yet, so I don't want to post until I do, but the next one I want to do is in vintage quilting calico...those tiny little flowers on dark background...I think that would be soooo cute.  Not something I'd carry, so I'll need to find another swap partner who would.  LOL!  Without swapping, I'd just have a whole pile of stuff that's so fun to make but that I won't use.

klum78 and I met in the 'New Baby & Pregnant Momma Swap' when I offered up hand-me-down cloth diaper...here is what she sent me for a large FRB of cloth fluff:

three tote bags and 6 lavender dryer sachets

2 reusable shopping bags, 3 zipper pouches and the dryer bags again

and just because she fits here is my baby girl in my favorite bag

a wee seal, he's too cute!

and her Edward Scissorhands!  She made one for the Tim Burton swap and I immediately wisted him!

He has scissor hands! and buckles! and scars!  I love him so!

I just got a super cool personal swap package from clevercuttlefish.  It's perfect!  I was just heading out for some Xmas shopping and the nice post guy brought it to my door! We live in a condo, so that doesn't always happen.   I got to use 2 of the pieces to go shopping with.  So here are pics!

This is a huge and reeally comfortable bag.  I could get my old purse and my dog Cosmo into it if I wanted to....I think Cosmo would get lost in it infact Grin.  I took it shopping and it was super!  The nice wide straps made it distribute the weight well.  It held so much!  It is made of denim with the squids bleached into it.

This the other thing I took shopping today.  A squid/jelly/octo scarf..OR squidarf!!  It is just the size I was thinking of making for myself...but waaaay cooler!  Super soft minkey I think they call it.  There is a band under the head that the legs go thru to keep it on.  The hub and I have been debating what species it is..which makes it even cooler hehehe.  I went to a hardwear type store in it and the carpenter/plumber guys didn't quite know what to make of it.  I'm sure they will all get home and say, " I saw the darndest thing today!  Some woman running around with a squid around her neck...or was it a jellyfish?"  I LOVE him

This is so perfect!  It's my first cephalopod stuffie!  I have recently decided to all the stuffie swaps that come up, and I am slowly getting a nice collection.  And I love my OctoStuffie!!

This is Cosmo being such a good boy for a photo of him and Octostuffie.

and here he is being the bucking bronco for Octostuffie
Please note: No animals, real or imagined, were harmed during this photo shoot

clevercuttlefish made the perfect size blanket for Cosmo, out of the same supper cuddly minkey.  It's a nice color for him too.  I got a photo of him and the blanket, but now it is not where it should be..... darn gremlins

Super cute monster address book!!!  I have it sitting on a shelf so I get to see it all the time heheh

So CUTE!!!!  Probably for a Christmas tree.  But I'll have them hanging all year round.

These are cling film stickers.  They are so wonderfully bright!  I call this picture "Hunting"  Cause the Octo is either going to get the wreath of the jelly, and the jelly is hunting that car outside.

And a bunch of fun crafty and tasty extras...the tasty ones are gone now....The cuttlefish is the card she made and sent.  It will go on my craftsters picture spot

She also sent my Hub a book about Great Siege of Malta.  He thought the book looked really interesting (he likes history and fighting heheh), and he was really touched for you to think of him.  It also held 2 bookmark cords.  One has dolphin beads and one has a wee little octo on one end....I'll probably let him use the dolphin one....maybe hehehe

Thanks so much clevercuttlefish!!  It was a fabo package, and you have been really fun to swap with.  SO glad you said yes Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

I got into a personal swap with beeker, and check out the awesomeness!

My mom has been drooling over her gourds ever since I showed her beeker's featured artist page, so this is going to be a gift for her for Christmas!
Thank you thank you!

Pixieval - I'm glad you like the gourd. I have a snow day tomorrow, so I will be able to post pics of the adorable hats you sent me.  Grin
