So glad you liked the bag phoenixfiredesigns! I had a lot of fun making it & I think that fabric is pretty cool! I couldn't get much so I made sure to use every bit of it that I could Smiley I liked the bag too... it was hard parting with it, but definitely well worth it for those trees of life!  Grin

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

And here's the amazing Philosopher's Stone necklace phoenixfiredesigns made in return!

Isn't it amazing?  It's a giant crystal that looks like it could have been plucked straight out of the movie!  I love it so much~ Smiley  Thanks again, PFD!

I actually didn't use a pattern; just came up with it myself  Grin I basically decided what size I wanted, used the sturdy brown fabric in the middle with the aviary fabric on top & bottom (& used interfacing on the whole piece). I used a solid piece for the interior. I added pockets & then sewed up the sides on both, squared the corners, added the straps, & put the whole thing together. Viola!  Grin
