This is going to be sooo cool to see what we all make and get! I am really interested in seeing what I make since I am kinda clueless right now! lol

Google Day of the Dead Pixie and you'll find a LOT of inspiration. Smiley  I particularly like the alfombras (temporary "carpets" made of colored saw dust and flowers) used to decorate the path for the religous processions. AMAZING stuff!

Olvera Street...........  I have fond memories of that place. When I was young I would always get one "mexican jumping bean". I named them. I would bring them to school for show and tell. Sometimes I would even draw a face on them. Once I learned how/why they jumped  Shocked , eeewwww , I never got another one. Undecided

Nope, when I was little I had some in this little plastic container and eventually got bored with them and threw them in a drawer. When I found them a few months later there were dead moths in the container with the beans.
