I haven't posted in probably a year...not because I haven't made anything, but because I haven't felt like posting  Sad Sorry guys, I've just been busy...will try to make up for it this coming year. On to the fun stuff: a wallet

This is so cute.
But it's making me hungry just looking at the pictures, I can't imagine what it would be like to carry one around with me.
Of course it would make a great little pouch for my candy supply.

Yummy! What a wonderful idea! I had not thought to save these. I think I need to make some cookies to get some of these to work with. Thank you for sharing this idea.

I love seeing things made out of candy wrappers. Do you use the wrappers as is or do you coat/cover them in something first??

I use the wrappers as is, but fold them up into a small piece of cleary vinyl first so they stay strong.  I make tons of wallets out of chip bags, ramen noodle baggies, even wafer thin candy packages and I've NEVER had any rip on me (except when my darling cat chewed on one on purpose and even then they were just tiny teeth marks).   You would be really surprised on how sturdy wrappers really are.

I don't use anything on them. I use them as is, since I think that vinyl makes the colors not as cool looking and also without the vinyl it still smells like chocolate. Vinyl is not my friend.
