I'm participating in the One World One Heart giveaway event this year and for it I've made my first paper collage bookmark.

I used old forest green packaging paper, torn papers from ruined books, metallic paint, some wire and an old diary key. You can't really tell but there are some flat circular mirrors glued to it, and the orange/burnt paint is actually metallic and has a shimmer. The leaf at the center is ornamental.

Full view and some close ups:

If you want a chance to enter the give away to win this bookmark, leave a comment on this post and I'll enter your name for the draw.

For more information on the event: One World One Heart

Thank you for viewing.

Agreed!  This is beautiful.  Did you just use plain old glue?  I love the texture.

Oooh, that's so lovely! I really like the mix of earthy colors and textures and the more industrial wire and key.
