The waiting room inside the Ostrich

Hi Everyone!

This is the first project I've posted, I'd love to get some feedback, positive and negative!
I made this for a final project in a graduate plastics class I took last semester. I was stuck at first as to what to make, but as I drifted off to sleep one night it came to me... I must make an ostrich.. with a waiting room in it...



He's about 5' tall, 2.5' long and 1.5' wide.  I made him with a little bit of everything- welded steel for the structure, plaster cloth, and then as much plastic as I could think about using- fused bag feathers, poly fill, I even cast his beak out of plastic.

I made all the furniture out of foam sheets.

I love it! Really creative! I love the fact that he has long thick eyelashes. His beak looks really good.

No, no reference. I thought it would be a funny thing to make, and just hoped others would find humor in it as well.

this is just great!  if i saw this in a waiting room of a doctor or dentist, it would definitely brighten up my experience and help me to forget about waiting.
  i know you said you wanted some negative criticism, but i cant think of any

Wait this is incredible--- I'm usually terrible at deciphering underlying story's (especially with lyrics, which I hate about myself), but is this like the ostrich that hides it's head, hence the waiting room? Like when we (I) go into the indefinite hiding/hermit/(dare I admit it on the web- agoraphobic) state? Absolutely brilliant! And beautiful, skilled, smart and so, so well done!
