Wow! How wide are your selvage strips? I try to trim mine off as narrow as possible, but thinking your are bigger... I admire your thrifty-ness Smiley

I like to have a teeny bit of the color show when I piece them.  I have a lot of friends who saves their selvages for me, too.  Also a quilt store.  It is a great way to quilt green!

wah! Why did I ever throw all those edges away!!

That's so beautiful. How did you do the quilting on the black one?

Yes, save those edges!!  LOL  Btw, the quilting was done by me on my longarm machine.  My day job is a machine quilter/teacher/designer.

Inside a dog it's too dark to read.

Thanks for the tutorial link. I've been wondering how to make those zingers. I've been saving selvages but don't have nearly enough yet. Someday...

It's beautiful! Yours always are!
I was considering this pattern to use up all the random thin strips I trim off the top of my curtains when I'm doing the headings (I make hand sewn soft furnishings for a living).

I am in love with selvage quilts. The colors are so fabulous. I'm kicking myself for all the selvages I have thrown away over the years.
